Preparing Education for the Age of Artificial Intelligence

Practical, evidence-based guidance for schools, colleges, educators and administrators navigating pedagogy in a world where AI is now part of the classroom.

Artificial intelligence is not coming to education — it is already here.
Students are using AI tools to study, write, solve problems, and learn in ways educators were never trained to manage. Institutions are facing dilemma about academic integrity, assessment design, critical thinking, and what it now means to learn.

With more than two decades of research design, pedagogy and leadership in education, and curriculum design, Dr. Rohini Ganjoo provides actionable strategies that institutions can implement immediately. Dr. Ganjoo works with K-12 schools and universities to help educators build effective, ethical, and meaningful learning in an AI-enabled world.

With more than two decades of research, pedagogy and leadership in education, curriculum design and learning, she provides actionable strategies that institutions can implement immediately. Dr. Rohini Ganjoo works with K-12 schools, universities, and professional programs to help educators move beyond fear or prohibition and instead build effective, ethical, and meaningful learning in an AI-enabled world.

About Us

Dr. Rohini Ganjoo, PhD is an Associate Professor and Program Director at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Her work focuses on critical thinking development, student learning behaviors, online and hybrid education, assessment design and the impact of generative AI on education. Her recent scholarship examines how generative AI changes learning, student reasoning, and academic integrity, and how educators can redesign teaching rather than simply restricting technology.

Our Services

AI Literacy & Capacity Building (People-Focused)

We provide structured AI education for the entire academic ecosystem of administrators, faculty, and students. Workshops focus on practical use: how to use AI as a thinking partner, not a shortcut, how to design prompts that support learning, and how to prevent over-reliance. For students, sessions emphasize study skills, academic integrity, and maintaining cognitive effort in an AI-assisted world.

Institutional Strategy & Policy Development (Leadership-Focused)

We work with schools and universities to design AI policies that are workable in real classrooms. Instead of blanket approaches, we help institutions create policies that faculty can implement and students can understand. This includes guidance on acceptable use, disclosure expectations, assessment integrity, and faculty protections.

Curriculum & Assessment Redesign (Learning-Focused)

The most meaningful response to AI is better learning design. We help programs redesign courses and assessments, so they require reasoning, interpretation, and synthesis rather than answer production. This includes creating assignments that involve decision-making, explanation of thought process, and application to new situations.

Scholarship & Thought Leadership

Dr. Ganjoo’s work on artificial intelligence in education is grounded in research and classroom implementation. Rather than approaching AI as a technology trend, I study how it changes thinking, learning behaviors, assessment, and teaching. I regularly publish, present, and deliver invited talks on the cognitive and ethical implications of generative AI and help institutions translate these insights into practical educational policy and teaching practice.

Trusted by students, faculty and administrative leadership to support AI learning- not replace it.

Dr. Ganjoo provides rare leadership in the evolving conversation around artificial intelligence in higher education. Her work combines scholarship, ethics, and implementation, allowing institutions to create policies that are both academically sound and practically workable. She has helped faculty and administrators understand how generative AI affects cognition, assessment integrity, and student development, and she offers concrete strategies that can be adopted immediately.- Dr. Rajiv Rimal, John Hopkins University
What distinguishes Dr. Ganjoo’s work is her ability to translate complex ideas about generative AI into clear, actionable teaching practices. She grounds every recommendation in research and in real classroom experience. Her sessions don’t just discuss AI — they change how faculty design assignments, evaluate student work, and think about learning itself. She has helped our institution approach AI not with fear or hype, but with informed confidence.- Dawn Klavon, Journalist
